Yes. Keeping photos, videos, recordings and stories, sharing them with family, searching, and downloading everything is free. We charge only for AI extras, finished films and big events.

We keep the exact file you uploaded, untouched. For viewing we make smaller copies, but the original is always there for you to download.

Yes — the whole library at once. Ask the other service for a copy of your photos (we walk you through it), add the file here, and we bring everything in with its dates, places, captions and albums. Nothing already in your archive is stored twice.

Please do. You can date them roughly — “Summer 1978”, “around 1965”, “the early 90s” — and they'll sit in the right place on your timeline.

Photos (including iPhone HEIC), videos (including iPhone .mov), audio recordings, and PDFs of documents or letters.

The free archive holds 5 GB — roughly 1,500 to 2,500 phone photos, fewer if you add a lot of video. Premium holds 250 GB. Going over only stops new uploads; nothing you've stored is ever held back.

You decide, every time: only you, everyone in a family space, or specific people. You can change it later.

No. Sharing is one hop. The people you share with can't pass it on, and their family doesn't get access.

No. Private means private — even the person who owns the family space can't see what you've kept to yourself.

No. Our staff see counts and technical logs, not memories. If someone reports a photo as harmful, support can see that one item, and the view is logged.

Only if your family turns it on. It's used only to suggest who's in your own photos, and anyone can ask not to be recognized.

No. They scan the code, type their name, and choose photos. That's it.

By default, until 30 days after the event. You can extend it, close it early, or leave the gallery viewable after uploads close.

Hosts can hide or delete any photo, block a guest, or require approval before photos appear. Guests can report photos too.

Forever. Guest access expiring never deletes anything. The whole day stays in your private archive.

No. Most of the smart work happens on our own servers when you upload. When you ask a question, only a handful of relevant details goes to an AI provider.

Your export is a normal ZIP of your original files plus a readable list of captions, dates and names. It works without us. We'd give every family ample notice and time to download.

Name legacy contacts in Settings, and choose what each should receive. When the time comes they send us proof; we tell your account straight away, a person on our team checks the document, and there's a waiting period before anything changes hands. If you're alive and well, one click — or just signing in — stops it. No one ever signs in as you.

Settings → Delete account. After a two-week window to change your mind, everything you added is permanently erased.
